Pigment Treatments

Chemical peels, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), and microneedling are all effective treatments for reducing unwanted pigmentation on the skin, such as sunspots, age spots, and freckles. Chemical peels work by exfoliating the skin’s surface, removing dead skin cells and encouraging the growth of fresh, even-toned skin. This can help lighten dark spots and improve overall skin texture. IPL uses light pulses to target pigment in the skin, breaking up the dark spots and helping to even out skin tone. However, IPL is not effective for treating melasma, a type of pigmentation often triggered by hormones or sun exposure. Microneedling involves tiny needles creating micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulates collagen production and helps the skin shed uneven pigmentation, leading to a more even complexion over time.

These treatments can be combined or used individually, depending on your skin’s needs, to help fade dark spots and achieve a smoother, more radiant skin tone.
